1. Too many sign-in attempts

The most common reason. Your sign-in is briefly paused for safety.

1Wait 5 to 10 minutes — the pause lifts automatically.
2Try signing in again. If you're not sure of your password, click "Forgot password?" on the login page.
3If the same email keeps failing, you may have signed up with Google instead — use "Continue with Google" from the login page.

You'll see this if you signed up but haven't clicked the confirmation link.

1Check your inbox for an email from Becoming with the subject "Confirm your account".
2If it's not there, check your spam / junk folder. Add no-reply@becoming.agency to your contacts so future emails don't get filtered.
3Sign in once on the login page — if the account exists but isn't confirmed, we'll automatically resend the verification email.

Easy fix — get a reset link in under a minute.

1On the login page, click "Forgot password?".
2Enter the email you signed up with. We'll send a reset link.
3The link expires after 1 hour — if it does, request a fresh one.
4Pick a new password that meets the strength rules (8+ characters, upper + lower case, a number, a special character).

Rare — used for organizations awaiting verification, or after a community-guidelines review.

1Organization accounts may pause while we verify business documents. This usually clears within 1–2 business days.
2Any account flagged for violating our community guidelines is placed on hold while we investigate.
3If you believe a suspension happened by mistake, contact support with your signup email and a short note. We respond within one business day.
